(Q1)How do I make my video and voice work?

Please install camera with the driver that came with camera. If you have USB headset you will have to install drivers as well. In case you are using jack headset you just need to connect it to the PC. You can than use Windows recording tool to ajust mic and speaker to desirable setup. Please do not use ICU without the headset or echo cancellation speaker phone.

(Q4) How does ICUNOW™ compare to GoToMeeting or MeetMeNow?

ICUNOW™ has DUAL PERSONALITY

1) ICUNOW™ has immediate communications comparable to "Instant Messaging" akin to MSN IM or Yahoo IM. With IM (or as calling somebody on a telephone), if they are near by and answer, you can talk.

2) ICUNOW™ has conferencing scheduling functions a lot easier than a GoToMeeting or MeetMeNow. With web conference you must access a webpage to complete an online website menu to select time and date and enter a list of people' email address to tell them to link to the website and enter a conference name, their participant name, their participant email address and then requires them to call a telephone number and enter a password to be able to listen and speak in the conference.

The ICUNOW™, desktop popup menu provides selection of day and time and the user/participant list. Click the name of each person to attend the conference. At the scheduled time (which can be instantly with one click), the conference is "LIVE" and all participants are in the conference (like the speaker just walked into the conference room). With ICUNOW™, you talk, look at the live video and see/modify documents, whiteboard or presentation.

(Q5) ICUNOW™-How to install?

STEP 1: Turn-off any form of anti-spy software and close other programs to have saved any work-in-progress. IMPORTANT Reminder: Your computer system must have current Microsoft OS upgrades for Microsoft XP Pro/2000/2003; Service Pack 2 and Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 must be installed before proceeding. For Microsoft Vista (all versions), the .NET Framework is built-in to this newest MS-OS.

STEP 2: Go to http://www.ICUDEMO.com Fill in your information in the pop-up window. The default down-load selection is "ICU Conference Trial". Click "Submit Download Request". You can download the file to your desktop or to a temporary file, or RUN online.

STEP 3: The ICUclient® install process will begin. Follow the Microsoft Wizard install procedure and accept the options in each pop-up. After this the ICUclient® will be installed in your Working Software folder.

STEP 4: Restart your computer and you are ready to launch your first ICU© collaborative conference.

STEP 5: You should see an "ICU© Icon" short-cut on your desktop for easier access. Position the icon appropriately. The "ICU© Icon" may also be in the Start Folder (lower menu bar - left corner).

STEP 6: Launch ICU© by double clicking on the icon and log-on to the ICU© servers.

User ID: GuestA through GuestZ

Password: "icunow" (for all 26 guest accounts and is case sensitive)

In case the ICU© is taking longer than 30-45 seconds to log-on (Connecting to site ICUNOWGuest), please wait a minute. Rarely, it may be necessary to restart your PC and try again. This time it will connect. Remember you are logging on as: GuestA through GuestZ. Of course you need to arrange with someone else, in advance, to have a conference with (just two the first time to simplify the process). If it is convenient, have the two of you talking on the telephone to be sure you are agreed which person will use which guest number, GuestA to GuestZ since obviously multiple users can not use the same guest account at the same time. Once logged on to the system click on Public Address Book, right click on the Guest# you want to call. There is an online Help tutorial for your immediate assistance at www.ICUDEMO.com
